Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Jobs Kilkenny
We are currently seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our client's clinical care areas based in Kilkenny. If you have a strong background in patient safety, training, accreditation, and resource management, this position offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact.
Essential Criteria:
- Registered General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI), or eligible to register.
- 5-7 years of post-registration experience in the acute hospital setting within the last 9 years.
- Demonstrated 2 years of management experience at the CNM III level.
- Completion of a formally recognized post-registration qualification relevant to the role, such as management.
- Understanding and commitment to providing quality patient-centered care.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence others.
- Knowledge and experience of quality audit/assurance systems.
- Strong understanding of financial and budgetary controls.
- Experience in clinical and professional practice development.
- Proficiency in IT/applications skills.
- Experience as a standard lead with JCI (Joint Commission International) is preferred.
