Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Theatre Nurse Manager to lead their team of dedicated surgical nurses based in Kilkenny. As the Theatre Nurse Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and operational efficiency within our theatre department.
Essential Criteria
- Be a registered general nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Must have 3 to 5 years’ experience in a leadership role within a theatre environment.
- Experience in private healthcare settings is advantageous for this role.
- Hold a qualification in Peri-operative Nursing.
- Strong leadership skills and influential abilities are essential for the role.
- Possess knowledge and experience of quality audit/assurance systems.
- Have experience in clinical and professional practice development.
- Demonstrate experience in change management.
- Clear, concise, empathetic, adaptable, active listening, effective verbal/written communication, rapport-building.
- Evidence of participation in an accreditation process would be desirable.
