Our cancer care team is seeking a talented and motivated Oncology Nurse to join us in providing exceptional care to patients with cancer. Essential Criteria:- A registered nurse with a minimum of 1 year of experience in any area.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
- A compassionate and patient-centred approach to care
- Strong clinical skills, with expertise in chemotherapy administration and management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and provide symptom management and supportive care.
- Administer and manage chemotherapy and other cancer treatments in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families throughout the cancer care journey.
- Educate patients and their families about cancer treatments, symptom management, and self-care strategies.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
